THROTTLE BODY

  1. Select Workplane
  2. Double click the Frontal Plane, OK in the dialogue box.
  3. Select Workplane, New Sketch, OK.
  4. View onto Workplane.
  5. Select Create Circle Tool. Click, drag and release a circle on the centre axis.
  6. Constrain the circle to 150.
  7. Select the Create Straight Line Tool. Draw a horizontal line through the centre of the circle dividing it into two semi circles.
  8. Select the Scissors Tool and delete the lower semi circle arc and any loose ends of the straight line.
  9. Select Extrude Profiles, enter a distance of 150 and accept all other defaults. Click OK.
  10. Select Isometric View, adjust the view if necessary using Autoscale, Zoom.
  11. Choose Select Workplanes Button and select the Base Workplane, click OK.
  12. Select Workplane, New Sketch, OK.
  13. Select Front View button.
  14. Choose Workplane, Offset Plane and enter 150 distance and click OK.
  15. View in Isometric to confirm location of workplane.
  16. View onto Workplane.
  17. Select Create Rectangle Tool and draw a rectangle across the extruded body.
  18. Select Constrain Separation and constrain the width of the rectangle to 10. Leave the length of the rectangle to overshoot each end.
  19. Constrain the rectangle to 22 from the edge of the body. Highlight the bottom edge of the rectangle and then highlight the edge of the body. Drag out the dimension and release.
  20. Double click the dimension and change the size in the dialogue box.
  21. Select Lines and highlight the rectangle red. Use shift to highlight all lines at once.
  22. Selet Edit, Duplicate, Rectangle
  23. X Direction= 1 Y Direction= 4, Spacing =32 and click OK.
