To complete the wing, highlight the edges on the end of the wing and add a radius of 2mm, this will round off the wing to a more realistic shape. This is shown in Fig. 8

 

 

 

 

Potential Pitfalls with the Loft Feature

The loft feature is powerful and has many possibilities, but it is important to ensure that the loft profile path is correct before clicking the OK tab.

In the example in Fig. 9 a simple two sketch loft is used to produce a wedge shaped object. However the loft profile is not on the same point of each sketch.
